WWE Immortals follows the same formula as Injustice down to a T. You have the same 3 on 3 battles, tapping and swiping to perform combo’s and special moves. Leveling up means you can increase the damage of your signature moves, you can do this in two ways, either buy an Upgrade using Credits (earned by battling or via in-app purchase) or find Upgrade Cards by progressing through the game.
WWE Immortals supports iCloud saving so you can carry on your desrtuction on other iOS devices. After each battle you earn credits, you can use these credits to purchase Cards (Characters), which you can then add to your team.
There is a pretty big roster to chose from, including wrestlers like Big Show, Paige, Kane, Triple H, Undertaker, John Cena, etc. There are 3 types of Cards, Bronze, Silver and Gold. A Gold Big Show card would be stronger than a Bronze Big Show card, similarly, a Gold John Cena would be stronger than a Silver John Cena Card.
If you get tired of playing the normal mode, you can also play online and test your skills against people from around the world. While your battles load you get some pleasant looking loading screens to look at.
