Ubisoft confirms Assassins Creed Identity is launching on February 25

Games maker, Ubisoft, has officially announced that Assassins Creed: Identity will be coming to iOS on February 25. The game was first soft-launched in 2014 in the Australian and New Zealand App Stores, and was recently removed, to make way for its official release worldwide.

Billed by Ubisoft as the first action-RPG Assassins Creed game for mobiles, the game allows you to create, customize and evolve your own assassins in an open-sandbox world in iconic Renaissance Italy.

“Embody an Assassin and experience the freedom of movement that made the franchise unique while unraveling the mystery of The Crows and solving dozens of quests”

In addition to the character classes, including Thief, Trickster and Shadow Blade, you’ll also be able to invite friends in co-operative mode to help you solve levels.

I’m pretty hyped for this game, since I couldn’t grab it when it was soft-launched. Assassins Creed Identity will have some in-app purchases but it’s unlikely you’ll be forced to purchase anything to progress further in the game. The game is set to launch on February 25 on the App Store for $5.
