Pangu updated, now includes Cydia installer

Just hours ago, Pangu announced that Cydia Installer would be included in the next Pangu update if all things went well. It looks like Pangu has made the new update available via the Pangu App, allowing you to install Cydia without the need of SSH or any terminal commands.

Now the only thing you have to do is jailbreak with Pangu, and then install Cydia directly from the Pangu app. It is the same procedure as you may have followed when jailbreaking iOS 7.1.x. The full guide is now here

If you had any doubts about jailbreaking, there are very few reasons not to do so now as Saurik has updated Cydia with tons of bug fixes as well as support for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The bugfixes include:
– No more device locking up when you have a passcode enabled
– Users are asked to confirm before being kicked to the App Store
– Playing a video within Cydia used to lock up the device (iOS 7.1+)

The Pangu team is also planning on releasing Pangu 1.1, this update will include Cydia already bundled with English support

Pangu currently is available for PC only, but we expect a Mac version to be made available in the future.

Happy Jailbreaking!
