Camera+ goes free via the Apple Store app [Update]

Camera+, one of the best and most used third party camera app for iOS has gone free for a limited time. Whether you’re an avid iPhoneographer or a casual snapper, you’re going to want to give Camera+ a go. The app isn’t available for free directly through the App Store, instead you need to follow these few simple steps below.

First you’re going to need to download the Apple Store app from the App Store.

Once the app has downloaded, open it and click ‘Stores’ on the bottom navigation.

Scroll down a little until you come across the promotional offer, then tap the Camera+ icon, this will then give you the option to ‘Download now for free’, click this and you’ll be redirected to the App Store.

Once you’re in the App Store you’ll get the following screen, click ‘Redeem’ in the top-right cornera and your download should begin.
This offer is running until November 16th 2014. It is also worth noting that the iPad version of Camera+ is still paid, and hasn’t yet been updated with the same features as the iPhone version. Grab Camera+ now to make a saving of $2.99!
Camera+ has brought back iOS 7 support, the previous update required users to update to iOS 8, but due to negative response from this the latest update, version 6.1, Camera+ is now compatible with iOS 7 devices again. The developers didn’t stop there though, they also added TIFF support, which allows users to take photographs in the highest quality, with no compression. Though this means photo’s will be eating up a lot of your space, if you choose this quality setting. The Front Flash has also been updated, now it has an Auto setting, so it’s one less thing to worry about when you’re taking selfies!
