One of the most notable changes in the new iOS firmware is a feature called Night Shift. Night Shift is very much like the popular jailbreak tweak, f.lux. It uses your device’s clock and location to determine when the sun goes down in your area. It then ‘warms up’ your screen color so that it’s easier on the eyes at night. If you remember, a while ago, users were able to side-load f.lux on non-jailbroken iOS 9 devices, but Apple soon put a stop to it, it’s clear to see why.
iOS 9.3 adds more useful features to CarPlay, including enhanced Apple Music support. You can view the New and For You sections in Apple Music to find curated music based on your tastes. And the Nearby feature in Maps lets you find parking, restaurants, cafe’s and more with just a tap.
There’s also some education benefits coming soon, so keep your eye out for them. Apple has even created an entire web page to preview the new firmware. Check it out here.
