Apple Partners with American Red Cross to Help Nepal Earthquake Victims

Apple adds a Red Cross dontation page to its iTunes Store today to help those affected by the recent earthquake in Nepal, 100% of the donated funds will be going towards the cause.

On Saturday 25th April, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal, triggering avalanches on Mt. Everest and reducing large portions of city to ruins, killing thousands, aftershocks continued to devastate the small nation. At the time of this post, the death toll is over 3,800.

Like with past disasters, Apple has partnered with the American Red Cross to handle donations.

iTunes users can donate by opening iTunes and heading to the Music section, where they will see a banner (like the one at the top of this post), clicking it will take you to the donation page. You will be able to donate $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 or $200.
Donations will be made annonymously and 100% of the donated funds will be going towards the cause.
