Apple dedicates their front page to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Just like every year, Apple has dedicated their entire front page to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr Day. If you go to right now, you’ll see a large black and white photo of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, with the quote “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”

Apple has removed all product marketing to focus on today’s celebration. Dr. Martin Luther King Day is often a public holiday for companies here in America.

The quote used on the home page, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”, reflects Apple’s own values, in terms of what they’re trying to achieve in society and ecology.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook has often said that he looks up to Dr. Martin Luther King as his inspiration. The video below shows a speech Tim Cook gave at Alabama Academy of Honor, where he mentions Dr. King as he talks about equality for all.
